My name is Kayla Wilbourn; I graduated from Oklahoma Baptist University with my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy in December 2019. I am currently a candidate for licensure, working under the supervision of Rilda Smith, a licensed marriage and family therapist.
Although I enjoy working with people of all ages, I have a special interest in working with teenagers and young adults. I see clients for individual, couple’s, and family therapy. I accept Medicaid/Soonercare and private pay clients.
I have training in multiple different therapeutic approaches, such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Family Therapy, and others; However, I primarily use an integration of Experiential Family Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy. I believe that all people have the ability to change their lives for the better- my role, as your therapist, is to help guide you and support you as you work towards that change. I also believe that by going through the therapeutic process, you can have healthier, more fulfilling experiences in all areas of your life.
