Susan Mustafina

Susan is an LPC who works in the Seminole and Shawnee areas. Susan earned her B.S. in Psychology at ECU and graduated from Oklahoma City University with an M.Ed. in Applied Behavioral Studies in Counseling.

Susan started her career in mental health as a case manager and rehabilitation specialist in the Shawnee/McLoud area. She has worked hard to gain competencies in several areas, including trauma, addictions, domestic violence, anger management, and PTSD. She enjoys working with seniors and those with chronic illnesses to help alleviate the anxiety and depression that chronic illness brings. She has certifications in EMDR, Motivational Interviewing and has trained for several years in mindfulness and meditation techniques.

Her current goal is to gain more knowledge in nutrition and cognitive decline. She enjoys helping people in transition. She has been contracting at Focus Mental Health Services for six years.
