Ariana McGough is a Licensed Professional Counselor for Focus Mental Health Services with training in EMDR (Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing).
She received her B.S. in Psychology from East Central University. She then moved on to ECU’s graduate school to receive her M.S. in Psychological Services. Ariana has been working in the mental health field since 2012. It is important for her to build a trusting connection with clients.
As a therapist, Ariana understands the challenges, obstacles, and complicated discomfort that arises during change and growth. Ariana uses a variety of counseling approaches with clients based on their individual needs, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Client-centered Therapy, and Neurofeedback. Ariana can also apply Play/Art Therapy techniques in her sessions. Ariana works in both the Shawnee and Duncan areas.
